BLACK ICE

Some clips from New Zealand.

"Welcome to webisode part one – Black Ice. Between now and the beginning of December there will be 9 more of these short webisodes. Not quite good enough for the film, these clips shed some light upon the waves we have found, places we have been and people met along the way. The gold is being put on ice after all it’s pretty hard to find. Now, with the film having been given the green light, there’s an outlet ahead. The film will be unleashed in December. In the meantime we’ll be searching for more clips and making sure it all comes together as well as possible."

A couple of months ago, Maz Quinn may well have been the most barreled man in NZ. One winter week not far from the city, he racked up at least 30 tubes in front of my lens. The week before he was ducking and weaving through some remote South Island river bank with the Dairies Down Under crew. A week later he was all over it on the East side, again relishing more then his fair share of hollow gems. Out of those 30 tubes, only a few were keepers. The rest will find their way online for your viewing pleasure. Precursor One. Stay tuned for more at longwhitecloud.tv
